Mother's Knowledge and Practice Toward Their Children’s Diarrhea and Role of Family Physician in Its Management
Abstract
Childhood diarrhea remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among children under five years worldwide, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Mothers’ knowledge and practices play a crucial role in early recognition, home management, and prevention of complications. Family physicians have a central role in providing education, early assessment, appropriate management, and preventive counseling to reduce disease burden and improve child outcomes.
